When you first launch Dumicas, you will see all of the lists you have created. To add a new list, press the plus button
in the lower right of the screen.
To add a list, you must supply a unique name. Tags are optional. Tags aren't displayed anywhere, but they are searched when
filtering. So if you add the 'work' tag to all of your work-related lists, you can easily filter your lists for those that you
use on the job. You can also enter multiple tags, just separate the words with a space.
Once you have created a new list and selected it, it will look like this. Tap the plus button to create a new item.
Notice that the table footer tells you how many items are in the list. This value will change as the list is filtered.
[Filtering will be addressed later.]
The same things apply here with regard to the name and tags. The difference is that an item can have notes associated with it.
Touch the Notes cell and enter a note. The cell will display the first 30 characters of the note.

Back to the Items View of the list, you can easily tell that the item has a note by the blue disclosure button.
Here is a second item, but it doesn't have a note. To view the note, touch the disclosure button. If you want to
select the item without viewing the note, just touch the name.

Here is the note.
Items can be sorted in four ways: alphabetically, the order you input them, randomly, or custom.
Here is a list of songs sorted alphabetically. Notice the sort button notifies you how the list is sorted and in which
direction (ascending or descending).
To switch directions, touch the sort button and select the same sort again. Notice the change in the sort button.
To sort the list in a custom order, touch the sort button and touch Custom, then put the items in edit mode by touching
the Edit button in the upper right. Notice the indicator on the right side of each item. That lets you know you can
rearrange the items in the list. That indicator is visible only when the list is sorted in custom mode. Dumicas will
remember your custom sort order, so you can freely sort your items in the various ways.
While viewing the items in a list, you will see the circular arrow button in the lower left. That is the Randomize button.
When touched, a random item will be selected in the list.
You can filter the items by searching for a substring in the item's name or tags. The search looks for the filter string as partial
words, not just at the beginning. So if you filter for "be", the results will include item with "be" in the name or in the tags. If
you then use the Randomize button, an item will be selected from the filtered list. Also notice the footer accurately reflects the
number of items in the filtered results.

Settings for Dumicas can be accessed by touching the info button in the lower left of the Lists View. You can see the version of
Dumicas that you are using and the available options. Presently, the only settings are to remember the list you last viewed and
to remember filters. Remember List allows you to return to the list you were view when Dumicas last closed. If you closed Dumicas
at the Lists View, it will open to the Lists View. But if you were looking at the Songs list when Dumicas was closed, the next time
you lauch the application, it will return to the Songs list. Remember Filter will save the filter and automatically apply it the
next time you launch the program (for the Lists View filter) or view the items in a list. For example, if you filter your lists
by the 'work' tag and then close Dumicas, your lists will be filtered by the 'work' tag the next you launch Dumicas.
